Version v1.0 · Template pending final review by counsel. It describes the data flows the product actually implements today.
Only what the Service needs to run your search:
Tailored documents and fit scoring are produced by third-party AI providers accessed through our AI gateway (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google models). When you run a fit review, generate a resume or cover letter, or request a summary, the relevant parts of your profile and the job posting text are sent to that provider in real time, for that request only, and the result is returned to you.
We do not sell your data, and we do not permit these providers to train their models on your personal data. Providers may retain a request briefly for abuse monitoring under their own terms. AI is never used to make an automated decision about you that has a legal effect — output is always a draft for your review.
Job postings are read from publicly accessible pages and employer job feeds. We identify our requests, rate-limit ourselves, and never attempt to bypass logins or paywalls.
Data is stored in our managed Postgres database with row-level security: every personal table is scoped to your account, so no other user and no anonymous visitor can read or change your records. Uploaded files and posting snapshots live in a private bucket and are served only through short-lived links issued to you.
We keep your data while your account is active. After deletion, backups age out on our provider’s normal schedule. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept to monitor the Service.
